Olivia Nesci
Olivia Nesci was Professor of Physical Geography and Geomorphology at the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo”. The scientific activity, documented by numerous national and international publications and presentations at the conference, was held in the fields of Geomorphology and Quaternary Geology. The best-known works to the international scientific community concern the genesis and the evolution of the physical landscape of the central-northern Italy and research in Cultural Geomorphology. In 2006 she began a collaboration with the artist Rosetta Borchia on the discovery of the landscapes that form the backdrop to the great works of the Renaissance. She is co-author of six books on Italian physical landscape.
Rosetta Borchia
Rosetta Borchia holds a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino and is a painter and a photographer of the landscapes of Montefeltro. She is also a keen naturalist and a hunter of ancient roses and rare wildflowers, as well as a garden designer. Since then, she has embarked on a new and exciting adventure in search of other backgrounds in Renaissance paintings. She has published four books about this subject.

In the morning, we’ll depart for our permanent location for the rest of the journey. Ready to explore the land of Raphael?

- Afterwards, we will visit Urbino, the birthplace of Raphael, where our adventure truly begins!
